My name is Liz DiAlto and I freaking loooovvveee my body…and yes, I am bragging. Not in an arrogant sense of the word though. I’m actually saying it to manipulate you (yes, there’s a positive side to manipulation). I want you to read that and think, “Oohhh, I want to feel that way.” Because you should want to feel that way. Having spent most of my life not feeling that way-I can say now, from the other side, that there’s no better feeling in the world.
My personal mission and life’s work is to get you on this side of things.
Life, all of it, every single little aspect, is way more fun when you love and appreciate your body. So welcome, I’m really happy have have you here.
I was not on the “I freaking loooovvveee my body” bus just a few years ago. I was letting my busy schedule run my life, eating like crap, not working out, and without realizing how, gained 15 lbs. To be clear, I didn’t wake up one morning 15 lbs heavier like “Holy sh*t, how did this happen?!” I was in a steady state of what I call “loser denial.”
I technically knew it, but kept telling myself I’d deal with it later. Well, eventually later turned into “It’s time to get your act together, Elizabeth.” (That’s right, when I’m really serious I call myself Elizabeth, just like my mother does when she’s not pleased with me either.)
Not only did I not *love* my body, I kind of *hated* her. I also felt embarrassed and ashamed-not just by how I looked and felt in my clothes, (we won’t even address being in a bikini or gasp, nakey), but by how I was treating myself. Intuitively I knew this was a reflection of my self-esteem and that was clearly no bueno.
Now, I serve women just like “old me”…and maybe be kinda like you…any of these sound familiar?
- you’re super busy
- you rarely put yourself first
- you’re never sure what “the best” approach to diet and exercise is
- you’ve managed to lose a few pounds here and there but it always comes back
- you’re dying for some freaking answers already, because if you have to continue living in this body you’re just going to SCREAM (or cry…and maybe sometimes you do both)
How will I help you kick all of that nonsense to the curb?
I realized what works for me works really well for a lot of busy women: quick and efficient workouts, healthy food that tastes amazing, and booty shakin’ whenever I get the chance. I also realized that to the extent that I could stop taking myself and the process so seriously, and inject some fun into it, the more likely I’d be to keep it up.
So, I offer tons of workouts you can do from home with little to no equipment, healthy and easy recipes and plenty of tips and tricks for fitting it all in around your busy schedule. I’m also great at mining resources for anything you need that I can’t help you with. That’s right, I have a lot of smarty pants friends who are experts in all kinds of complementary services to what I do.
I also have a super power.
At the end of the day, fitness is fitness. You can definitely find similar workouts, recipes, and even ways to shake what your mama gave ya’ all over the internet. My super power is in my delivery style. I’m really entertaining, I laugh at myself, I make mistakes just like you do, and I’m certainly no fitness model. I love my sweets, and I’m a New Yorker, so if you think I’m giving up pizza or bagels, ever, you are out of your mind, girlfriend.
What I’m getting at is that we probably have a lot in common. It’s not my natural inclination to choose salad over something cheesy, creamy or any other super dreamy, delicious and tempting option-but I do it anyway (most of the time)-and if I can do it, you can too.
I will get and keep you motivated.
I will inspire you to make lifestyle changes to get that slammin’ hot body you’ve always wanted. You are going to be turning heads, woman. Most importantly, your own.
And if you don’t believe me-I have news for you. I’m a master of motivation and an excellent sales person. Ever heard of Cutco knives? I used to sell ‘em. I’ve sold over $1 million dollars of them actually. In fact when I was 19, I was the #10 knife-seller in the United States of America out of 20,000+ college students slinging blades.
Yes, I’m bragging again. But this time it’s not to manipulate you. I just want you to know that if you think you’re a tough case because of your genes, your age, your stage in life, budget, or any other situation or circumstances-none of that is any match for me. I have your back. You can do this.
